Consent has been granted for the erection of a dwelling on a constrained and challenging urban site in North Northamptonshire. With a storied planning history including many historic applications having been refused by the Council, CC Town Planning were appointed to serve as a critical friend to Simon Ackerman, archi-tec design during the recent planning application process and subsequently instructed to prepare appeal representations.

The Inspector agreed with the case we prepared for the Appellant and confirmed that the proposal would neither adversely impact the area’s character or on privacy levels enjoyed by existing or future residents. Interestingly the Inspector confirmed that several material considerations, that the LPA weighed against the proposal, were unsubstantiated. With no pre-commencement conditions imposed, preparatory works have started on site.
