Richardson Mews

CC Town Planning have secured planning permission and listed building consent on appeal to the Secretary of State for an extension to a curtilage listed outbuilding within the Richardson Mews Care Home in Kingsthorpe, Northampton.  The main listed building was built in 1882 on the site of the Hospital of St David.

The proposed extension to the former coach house will provide much needed accommodation in the form of a further 8 residential care bedrooms with ensuites.

The Planning Inspector agreed with our case that the proposed extension would not detract from the character and setting of the listed building and allowed the appeals accordingly.
